Our Babies Room accommodates up to 12 children per day, with a 1:4 educator-to-child ratio, ensuring that each baby receives the attention and care they need. The room is thoughtfully designed to reflect a home-like environment, providing babies with a safe and secure space to grow, explore, and develop.
The daily routine in the Babies Room is both relaxed and flexible, allowing us to meet each child’s individual needs, including preferences for bottles, meals, sleep, and play. For sleep time, we create a calming atmosphere with soothing music and dimmed lighting to support each baby’s unique sleep routine. As the children grow, they naturally transition to a more structured routine similar to the rest of the centre, but we always ensure this happens at the child’s own pace and in close communication with families.
Our Room Leader plans regularly for each child’s development through a cycle of observation, implementation, and evaluation. This approach ensures that activities are tailored to the child’s interests and developmental needs. As babies progress, we provide support to help them reach significant developmental milestones, such as walking, talking, and other key stages of growth.
